What is Meditation?

Meditation is when you train your mind and your body to focus better and to stay in a state of consciousness. You can meditate to help you get rid of stress, to heal and to make your mind and your body healthy. The more you develop this, the more love, kindness, forgiveness, and gentleness you will have.

When you focus on saying positive mantras, breathing deeper, visualizing, and listening to meditation music, you can help yourself to be more mindful and to stay calm in your mind.

Meditation is a way that you can reach your inner being and where you can allow the universe to talk to you. This is one way that you can increase your wisdom and where you can increase your intuition.

Most people think of meditation as deep breathing and closing your eyes and doing this without distraction.

Does Meditating Work?

Most people have a hard time meditating because they have a hard time focusing at first. Or they are often too busy, and they don’t want to take the time to do these things.

Doing this can help you to have a better life, reach your inner self and to find your purpose in life. You can be more aware of what your purpose is, and you can increase your giftings.

What Happens When You Meditate?

When you meditate and you focus on your breathing, you can quiet your mind and be able to reach your subconscious mind.

It is easier to keep your mind still when you use meditation music. You can also use someone to guide you through meditation and this will help to keep your mind on track.

Meditation Positions

There are different positions you can take when you meditate such as sitting on the floor, laying ion your bed, or finding something that will make you comfortable. Do not be too comfortable though that you will fall asleep.

Meditating Tips

There are so many different types of meditation that you would never be able to write them all down. There are some that keep you calm and some that give you energy.

The kind of meditation that you choose is the kind that will be best for you. Find what gives you wisdom and inner peace.

Preparing for Meditation

The first thing that you should do is to make sure that you aren’t super tired or full. Make sure that you have on comfortable clothing. Do not meditate when on drugs or alcohol.

Make sure that you prepare yourself mentally and you are ready to think of inspirational things.

Find a place that is quiet that will not disturb you such as a place away from the phone. Your senses will be stronger, and you need to make sure that you are in a calm place.

You can sit on the floor and cross your legs or sit in a chair. Put your feet flat and your hands in your lap.

Learn to relax and sit up straight and look at the ceiling or straight ahead. Take time to deep breath and exhale through your mouth.

Imagine that a white light is flowing through you and that you are seeing this cover you and go around you.

Repeating

Repeat whatever you are doing so that you can stay focused, and you can keep your mind calm.

You can repeat with your eyes opened or clothes and you can make sure you are fixed on one object if you open your eyes.

Light a candle if you are in a dark room. This will help you to focus on something. Sometimes people do better when they close their eyes and visualize things, this helps some to concentrate better. But if you don’t want to do this, you can imagine a flower or a phrase that is inspirational to you.

There are different phrases that you can think of and you can learn to do things like say relax over and over again. Or you can just inhale and exhale.

Repeat a phrase that you choose over and over again and whatever you are concentrating on, pay attention to it.

Your mind will want to stray at first but be gentle with yourself. Try to concentrate on what you are imagining or what you are looking at. As you practice, you will get better at this.

Receiving

After you repeat a few times, you will begin to receive. Put your hands separate and let your mind relax. Don’t think about anything.

Let your mind be free of thoughts and keep your eyes closed. Stay relaxed but be alert.

Imagine different images in your mind and let yourself hear and see things. The image will help you to boost your meditation. Imagine that you are watching something or that you are doing something in your mind.

Ending the Meditation

At the end of the meditation, you need to put your hands together and form a fist. Let the white light fill you and protect you.

The idea is that you learn to be protected wherever you are, and you imagine that the white light is there like a shield to protect you wherever you are. This allows you to close down your mind that you opened when you were concentrating.

Use this time to imagine that you need to reach a goal and that you can do it. Use positive affirmations and repeat whatever you need to repeat to feel calm.

After you meditate, you will see that you have so much wisdom. You will see that you can be sensitive and align yourself with the universe.

You will see growth and your mind will have powers that are secrets of the universe. You will be stronger in your meditation and you will do this for your inner good.
