Falling for Your Best Friend

Falling in love with your best friend is something that people often see in the movies. It seems like in all of those love stories, things are perfect, and everyone is happy.

It can be perfect to fall in love with your best friend and this can be the best thing that has ever happened to you.

Falling in love with your best friend can mean that you are with someone that knows you more than anyone else knows you and someone that has proven that they are there for you no matter what.

Falling in love with your best friend can mean that you are with someone that has a good sense of humor and someone that you laugh at, a lot.

It can mean that you are with someone that knows all of your favorite things such as what your favorite movies are, your favorite color, what kind of drinks you like, how you like your tea or what your favorite places to shop are. They will know all about you.

This person will know your family, your friends, and chances are that you will even share mutual friends together.

Falling in love with your best friend can mean that you will have someone with you that has helped you through hard times already, someone that is there when your life gets upsetting or scary and someone that will help you when you are sad.

They have seen you cry; seen you be angry and seen you when you were at your lowest point and they still care about you and have helped you along the way.

Falling in love with your best friend can be the best thing that has ever happened to you because they know everything about you, and they make your life feel complete. You know that they are going to always be there for you and accept you for who you are.

Worst Thing

Falling in love with your best friend can be the worst thing. This can be someone that has always loved you but then you fall in love with them, and they stop being the person they used to be.

The relationship now feels differently, and they treat you differently, now it feels that you are with someone that you never even knew.

Falling in love with your best friend can mean that they know how to push your buttons and upset you because they know where all of the buttons are.

It can mean that they take for granted the past life that you have spent together, and they might start treating you poorly because they figure that they can treat you how they want, and you will always be there for them.

Falling in love with your best friend can mean that they no longer are your best friend but some stranger that you don’t even know. No one wants to talk about the bad parts of falling in love with your best friend, but they are real.

Falling in love with your best friend will be the worst thing ever if you lose them along the way. This will mean that you have lost both a lover and the one person that you depended on, before you loved them.

  2. From a psychological perspective, falling in love with a best friend can be explained by attachment theory. Individuals often seek out partners who provide security and comfort—traits usually found in close friendships.

  3. Honestly, this is just another fairy tale. Falling in love with a best friend rarely ends well. You risk losing both the friendship and the romantic relationship. Not worth it if you ask me.

    • You have a point, but every situation is different. If you both communicate openly, it can actually lead to a deeper bond instead of ruining the friendship.

  4. ‘The worst thing’? Really? Sounds like a lot of over-dramatization here. Relationships are complex, and just because some may face challenges doesn’t mean everyone will experience that doom-and-gloom scenario.

    • ‘DoubtingDaisy’ needs to lighten up! Love is complicated, but that’s what makes it exciting! Why not embrace the chaos?

  5. I absolutely loved this article! Falling in love with your best friend seems so magical and special. It’s like finding love in the most unexpected place. Who wouldn’t want to be with someone who knows them so well?

  6. ‘Falling in love with your best friend’? What happens if it goes wrong? I mean, have we all just forgotten how fragile friendships can be? This post glosses over that reality.
